What makes Awakened Hearts Unique?
I AM Baily and I am honored that our paths have aligned and that you entrust me with your greatest asset: your heart. Through my souls journey of 35 years thus far, I have come to know thyself. I have always felt a calling to heal others and for the past 15 years I did this through nursing. Traditionally educated and trained in medical sciences, I worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse on a variety of surgical units at the Red Deer Regional Hospital and in rural hospital and community settings. Though nursing will always hold a special place in my heart, over the years I was witness to hundreds of patients that were repeatedly seeking treatment and answers for debilitating medical concerns that the conventional health care system simply couldn’t provide. The reason, I began to innerstand, was that health care only focused on the physical anatomy and functionality of the body.
However, through my personal experiences and 15 years of study into all things metaphysical (energetic), I knew that our body is so much more complex; encompassing mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic components that are all deeply interconnected; where one impacts the whole; where they are, truly, one in the same.
This truth is life-changing and as the saying goes: “once you know, you know”.
Suddenly, it was making sense that the patient whose wound would not heal, had just as much to do with the emotional trauma they endured and still carried, as it was a physical vulnerability. Time proved that without addressing the emotional and mental charges of trauma, the physical body has a much more difficult time healing. Unfortunately, the demands and time-restraints of our imploding health care system was not conducive for my hearts true calling to host safe, heart - opening spaces with patients. This began to diminish my inner light, not living my authentic truth.
For what I wanted was to nurture people on a deeper level. And so, I took a leap of faith! I did something I never ever thought I would have had the courage to do: I quit my job and walked away from my 15 year nursing career in order to align with my soul’s true calling to re- connect people with the You-niverse.
So, from my whole heart to yours: thank you for supporting my journey, my calling and thank you for taking your own leap of faith and having the courage to nurture your own light.
So what does this have to do with Awakened Hearts Intuitive Offerings? While I am professionally versed in modern medical sciences, as I continually study and work towards spiritual enlightenment personally, I began to account the many differences and similarities among “science and spirituality”. What is incredibly interesting is that in some instances they speak to one in the same thing and yet, most people will see it as either/or. Because of my sciences background I am able to help bridge the two seemingly different worlds. I find this approach has been equally beneficial for clients in helping to understand and integrate knowledge.
